Rider's Double World Record Backflip Approaches Its One Year Anniversary

Darkfest is right around the corner and what better way to get hyped for the first Fest Series event of the 2024 calendar than to look back at Tom Isted's world record setting backflip from last season?

Take a look at the legendary flip below.

This flip sort of came out of nowhere from what people there at the event said. No one really expected Isted to walk up and flip that monster on one of the first hits. The flip ended up shaking out to 120 feet which set the world record for both the longest dirt to dirt jump and longest dirt to dirt flip.

When Isted threw that legendary flip, he broke the 2023 Rampage champion, Cam Zink's, dirt to dirt flip record. It wouldn't be surprising to see Cam take a crack at trying to reclaim his record sometime soon, we all know he's a competitor to the core.

Why we bring up this record now is because Darkfest is coming up in a little over a week and a half. The dates this year are February 3rd to the 10th and you better believe that we'll have all the coverage we can get our hands on right here on BikeMag.

Speaking of which, take a look at the official rider's list below.
