Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Fuel Fan Speculation of Possible Secret Marriage

During their latest public appearance, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky stirred up major fan theories that the couple has secretly wed.

After the two showed up to the 2023 Met Gala wearing what appeared to be bridal-inspired attire, fans took it as a hint that the pair had already tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony of sorts.

The "Love on the Brain" singer arrived at the event on Monday, May 1, rocking a white Valentino gown with an over-the-top hooded cape that was arranged to look like a bouquet of roses. Her partner appeared beside her in an ensemble that had just as much to talk about: a suit jacket, black tie, bedazzled jeans, a stack of belts, a single glove and a kilt.

"I’m going to go out on a limb here and say I think this is a nod to Rihanna and ASAP getting married," one fan asserted on Twitter. "She’s late and she’s the last to arrive and she’s in a wedding dress."

"I have a feeling Rihanna is married #MetGala," another wrote.

"Is this Rihanna’s wedding and we’re all just finding out about it…like go awf sisssss," a third person joked. "Like surprise Met Gala this is actually my wedding… K thanks."

Others, however, weren't so sold that the couple–who welcomed their first child last May and are expecting another–had said "I do," suggesting instead that this is them hinting that they will be soon.

"Rihanna just told us she’s married/getting married," a fourth tweeted.

"She getting married?" another fan questioned after watching the Grammy-winning singer transform the floral hood into a shawl.

While the couple has yet to address fans' speculation, it wouldn't be the first time the singer shared a huge announcement in such a big way. Just a few months ago, Rihanna took to the stage at the Super Bowl, revealing her pregnancy with baby No. 2 during her Halftime Show performance.

In previous circumstances, though, the Savage X and Fenty Beauty founder has made sure a member of her team offered a statement promptly. So, if we had to take a guess, we'd say the couple most likely hasn't gotten married–yet.
