Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's Second Baby Name Continues the Family Tradition
Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and A$AP Rocky's second baby name has been unveiled, and it falls right in line with the rest of the family.
That's right—according to the birth certificate, the fashionable couple kept the "R" tradition going, giving the new addition a moniker perfectly aligned with his super-famous crew: Riot Rose.
Some think the choice is a nod to dad Rocky, born Rakim Athelaston Mayers, as the "Fashion Killa" rapper released a song by the same name featuring Pharrell Williams on July 20, serving as the second single from his upcoming fourth studio album Don't Be Dumb. It's also possible that the music artist could have been dropping an early hint about his unborn child's name at the time if it was already pre-decided.
Coming along just 15 months after big brother RZA, the pair's first child, the bundle of joy was born on Aug. 1 (not Aug. 3, as previous reports claimed) in Los Angeles, making the group an official family of four.
It was first revealed that the Bajan billionaire was expecting her second child during her Super Bowl LVII Halftime show on Feb. 12, 2023, where she shocked the world by flaunting an unexpected baby bump on stage.
The newly-minted parents-of-two have been together since 2020, after rekindling their prior 2013 romance. Rumors have swirled about the possibility that the two secretly tied the knot, however no evidence has been presented to confirm such is true.
In any case, the collective as a whole just sounds like it belongs... well, together. Rocky, Rihanna, RZA, and Riot has a nice ring to it, right?
