Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Partners With Diesel For Bold, Sexy, Collaborative Collection
Savage X Fenty and Diesel have teamed up for a one-of-a-kind collaboration. The lingerie and apparel brand, founded by Rihanna, and the Italian clothing company united their distinct identities for a collection described as “bold, creative, and sexy.” Released on Tuesday (Oct. 8), the limited-edition lingerie and apparel capsule is the product of the unapologetic, body- and sex-positive ethos of Savage x Fenty collection with Diesel creative director Glenn Martens’ interpretation of its iconic visual vocabulary, according to a press release.
The Diesel X Savage X Fenty collection includes lingerie, men’s and women’s underwear, and sleepwear with bustiers, string bikinis, thigh-high stockings, teddies, underwear, bras, briefs, tanks, and shorts. Each piece is embellished with a co-branded Diesel X Savage X Fenty logo and adheres to three signature Diesel aesthetic pillars —True Diesel, Denim, and Utility.
True Diesel is defined by fishnet and foil prints in iconic Diesel red. Denim features trompe l’oeil in flocked mesh and burnout velvet treatments in pop colors and Utility includes camouflage stretch lace and graffiti logo cotton poplin.
The vibrant campaign was brought to life by Martens and Rihanna on the beaches of Tuscany, Italy with photographer Salvatore Matarazzo and videographer Jacopo Farina. The images feature a cast of real Italian characters in Versilia as a depiction of complete body acceptance and freedom. It also highlights a judgment-free day in the Italian sun by showcasing people of all ages, body types, genders, and ethnicities feeling confident in their Diesel X Savage X Fenty outfits.
Customers can purchase items from the drop at Diesel Worldwide select stores, six Savage x Fenty retail stores in the US, and department stores worldwide, as well as online at savagex.com and www.diesel.com. Prices range from $30-$90 per item.
