Rihanna Thinks She'll Be a High-Maintenance Mom

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 15 years since Rihanna Pon de Replayed her way into American hearts and (i)Homes.
Today, the 30-year-old Barbados native is not only a Beyoncé-level superstar, she’s a businesswoman whose acumen has spawned one of the most in-demand beauty brands of recent years.
But when she’s not busy building her empire, Rihanna is focused on less global concerns.
“OK, so now that I’m 30, are there things I’m supposed to do?” she jokes in a recent Vogue interview. “Should I be worried? Should I be freezing my eggs? What do you do at 30?!”
Unlike your average 30-year-old, Rihanna deals with her insecurities on a public stage. When it comes to the body-shaming trolls of the Internet, though, the singer can laugh it off.
“You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly,” she says. “I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies. I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”
Also on her radar: motherhood. “I’m not gonna be able to take my eyes off my kid,” she says of being a mom one day. “I know that already about myself. They’re going to have to force me to hire a nanny.”

While Rihanna’s notoriously quiet about her relationship with rumored boyfriend Hassan Jameel, she’s not afraid to discuss longtime collaborator and former flame Drake, whose flattering introduction of the singer at the 2016 Video Music Awards made the praise-shy star uncomfortable. “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part,” she shares. “I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
Nearly two years later, the love isn’t flowing quite as freely between the two. “We don’t have a friendship now,” she says of her relationship with the rapper, “but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
