Fans of action movies and quippy one-liners, gird your loins: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Spider-Man star Tom Holland want to work together. The two actors voiced their outspoken admiration for each other this week, and both said that they'd love to collaborate on the right project someday.

It started out in an interview Holland gave to GQ, in which he spoke about the respect he has for Johnson's career. "The Rock is someone I've always looked up to," he said. "His whole thing is: be the hardest-working person in the room. It's something that I've really taken to heart." Johnson saw the quote and responded on Twitter, calling Holland "a good buddy" who "continues to earn his success daily." He added that he looks forward to working with him at some point.

Their paths might cross sooner rather than later. After all, they're both part of the vast Disney entertainment machine: Johnson is starring in next year's Jungle Cruise, while Holland is part of the MCU (or at least, he was up until recently) and will appear alongside his Avengers co-star Chris Pratt in the new Pixar movie Onward. We can totally imagine Johnson and Holland teaming up on a family-friendly adventure movie.

Or maybe Holland will get a knowing cameo appearance in the next Hobbs & Shaw movie. Johnson is fond of bringing in his friends for surprise roles; Hobbs & Shaw included fun, brief cameos from his good pals Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart.

There's even a slender chance that Johnson and Holland will both be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the same time: if Holland's Spidey gets to stick around, he could run into Johnson, who has been offered the role of Garrison Kane in the next Deadpool.
