Rockwood South Middle School hosts ‘Paws in Need’ to match pets with families

FENTON, Mo. – The value of having a pet or two in the home cannot be understated. The unconditional love of a dog, cat, bird or another creature gives people the drive to succeed every day.
That said, there are many pets out there who are still looking for their forever home. Pressure is building among animal shelters in the St. Louis area.
On Saturday, teachers and students at Rockwood South Middle School invited families to meet their next potential pets. The event, named “Paws in Need,” allowed children to look in awe as many wagging tails and curious noses greeted them.
