What You Need
Tire
Nylon rope
Casters (3)
Nuts and bolts (12 each)
Caulk gun
Construction adhesive
Hammer
Screwdriver
Metal pizza pans (2)
10D nail
Pen
Scissors
Step 1: Arrange Casters
Arrange three casters on a face-up pizza pan. Space casters evenly near the edge of the pan. Mark the holes of the casters, and then set the casters aside.
Step 2: Attach Casters
Use a hammer and nail to punch the holes previously marked. Next, attach casters using the bolts. Flip the pan over and tighten with the nuts.
Step 3: Adhere Pans
Spread a ring of construction adhesive around the bottom edge of the pizza pan. Attach to the center of the tire and allow to dry. Flip the tire over, and spread a ring of adhesive around the bottom edge of the other pan, as before. Flip the pan over and attach to the center of the tire and allow to dry.
Step 4: Add Rope
Spread a small circle of adhesive on the center of the pan. Form a coil with the rope and place on the adhesive in the center. Continue coiling the rope in a circle, adding adhesive as you go. Finish wrapping the rope at the bottom edge of the tire and cut the end of the rope. Allow to dry for 24 hours, and then enjoy using your new ottoman!
