Rosario Dawson celebrates turning 39 in her birthday suit

Rosario Dawson, Daredevil and Jessica Jones star, is celebrating “not letting gravity bring me down” in a series of Instagram posts showing off her figure.

In the first, she tilts her camera to show her naked body and smiling face. She covers her chest with her arm, and moves her legs to hide the lower part of her body. She captioned the short video, “Happy birthday suit to me…”

In the second celebratory photo, the New York City native, who has been in the business since age 15, showed off even more skin. In the selfie, she’s hiding her vajay behind a bouquet of pink roses and showing off her curves (and bum!) in the reflection of several mirrors. It’s cute and she’s obviously feeling empowered by her body at age 39.

The star copped to being a major geek in a 2015 interview with Yahoo Lifestyle. She said she was reading comic books and playing video games long before she made her screen debut. “I have a comic book that’s 10 years old, and I’ve been going to Comic-Con for years,” she said. “There’s a lot of women and people who have been a part of it for a really long time, and unfortunately it’s been a major boys’ club for so long too. But the shift is timely and necessary.”
