Prince William and Kate Middleton have released a new photo from Prince Louis' christening, following the group of official images they shared last night. The image shows the Duchess of Cambridge smiling as she carries two-month-old Louis in his christening robe, looking happier than ever.

"The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do," Kensington Palace tweeted.

The image is more casual and candid than the original set. It features a more close-up angle, while the others were formally posed either in the Morning Room at Clarence House with other royal family members, or in front of a blank wall. It also shows the most emotion we've seen from the royal baby thus far, and he sure looks cheerful.

Even the photographer for the new picture is different; it was taken by Matt Porteous while others were shot by Matt Holyoak. He previously shot royal portraits of Prince George for his third birthday.

"It was an honour and a privilege to photograph the christening of Prince Louis," Porteous wrote on his Instagram.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared four images last night from Louis' christening on July 9. The shots included the first portrait of the whole family of five: William, Kate, Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. (Perhaps it's a preview of this year's royal Christmas card?)

As usual, George and Charlotte are cuter than ever in the group shot; but the fact that they're posing with their baby brother for the first time together makes the image even sweeter.
