Rumer Willis Shares Sweet Photo of Dad Bruce With Newborn Granddaughter
Rumer Willis is giving a glimpse at some sweet moments between her newborn daughter, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis, and her dad, Bruce Willis.
The actress spent Father's Day with her "papa," penning a heartfelt message to the daddy-of-five on Instagram, alongside a capture of him holding her eight-week-old newborn child on the celebratory holiday.
In the image, the 68-year-old held the baby to his chest, looking out over the pool and outdoor scenery. Along with the endearing snapshot, Rumer also included three more photos in the social media gallery, including one where she stepped in the frame to pose with the babe and embrace the Red actor, as well as two of her beau and Louetta's dad, Derek Richard Thomas.
The Die Hard star, who has dominated the film industry in countless action movies, has been battling frontotemporal dementia after stepping away from acting early last year due to his health.
"Fathers to the old and new," the 34-year-old opened the caption of the June 19 post.
She continued: "Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game…."

In addition to paying homage to her own dad, she also made sure to let her daughter's father know how much he's appreciated. "Thank you for building a beautiful garden for Lou to play in and eat from. ??Thank you for filling the house with music for her to hear ??Thank you for all the late night diaper changes and silly faces. I’m so grateful our girl has a papa that loves her so much and someone so goofy and weird so she knows that’s ok for her to be too. Thank you for the greatest girl I could imagine in my wildest dreams," she wrote while wishing him a "Happy 1st Father's Day."
Wrapping it all up, she concluded with "We love you ??."
As Parade previously reported, Rumer gave birth to the baby girl in April, recently sharing more details about her home water birth with a candid post on Instagram.
