Running has taught me the perseverance that comes in handy being a middle school teacher, a father and just generally as a human being.

I joined RW+ to be part of this great running community. Also to have access to Coach Jess’s amazing workouts.

I have been running since high school (on and off). I run because it keeps me in shape. I love solo running. Getting lost in my thoughts while on that long run in the woods. That is where I want to be. Running is my stress relief therapy! It is a love my wife, sons, and I can share!

I run for the fun of it (and staying in shape!) Nothing beats that end of the run, I-just-did-that feeling! I love the feeling of accomplishment after a long/challenging run!

I love running the technical trails at Hunter’s Creek Park in Rural Western New York. They are always challenging and I learn something new about myself every time I run the trails there.

Give me my Garmin watch, AirPods, Pegasus shoes and my full length compressions socks and I will run forever!

I ran my first international race in 2019 in San Jose, Costa Rica. It was also my first 10K race. It completed the 5K, 10K, half, and full marathon set of races for me. I completed my first 5K, half, and full marathons by 20 years old. It took me 20 more years to run my first 10K. Most people don’t finish this race set with the 10K, much less a 10K in Costa Rica!

To stay healthy and keep running!
