I have been a runner since high school, and I ran in college. I got cancer in 2014 and was told I would never be able to run again. I tried to make a comeback in 2017 but my lungs were still having trouble from the chemo. I took up spin, got back in shape, and started running again in 2018. My times now are better than ever and I constantly medal in my age group and sometimes place on the podium—thus proving nothing is impossible.

I love the energy, dynamics and the articles.

I run to prove that nothing is impossible. To keep me sane. To push myself further and further and see what I am capable of doing.

I run mainly in the Rockefeller Preserve State Park on the trails. There are so many different trails that I am able to do hard runs, easy runs, long runs, short runs and never get bored.

You can catch me in Tracksmith or Nike gear with my Brooks Ghosts on my feet, and my Garmin watch on my wrist.

I sing the same song over and over again in my head on long runs. I don’t use music so I pick one song, and it plays over and over again in my head until I am done.
