Running has changed my life because it has become a source of meditation for me. When I run I forget about all my worries after mile three; I get into a zone and the rest is history.

I joined RW+ because I enjoy the resources that are at my disposal. It’s encouraging to read about other runner’s stories. I like using it for recommendations on shoes and clothing.

While running I become very creative and I have better insight on things. I like how strong running makes me feel, I feel like I can conquer anything. When I run I tend to reflect on all the things I am grateful for. I tend to give my gratitude to my family and that alone sustains me. Running almost feels spiritual; when I run I sometimes feel like I am flying and free.

I run right out my door, usually in the morning. I am lucky to live in an area that’s runner friendly. I live near the American Tobacco Trail, and that place is amazing to run. It’s flat and you always see tons of runners regardless of the time of day.

I run in my Hokas or Brooks. I always run with a fanny pack and my Goodr shades.

Something cool about me is that I trained for two marathons in one year. I ran Paris and NYC.

My running goal is to beat Oprah’s time of 4:29.
