Running gives me more confidence about myself, and allows me to think freely. It has also introduced me to a group of humans that all think of running like I do...It’s a gift and should not be taken for granted.

I love to hear stories about other runners and how running has changed their lives or how they have overcome big obstacles.

Running to me is something that isn’t like any other exercise. It’s all about you and only you can make it happen. After a run I feel like I can do anything.

I’m an early person, so I get started around 4:30 a.m. I live next to Rio Grande Bike/Walking Trail which extends along the Rio Grande River for about 30 Miles...it’s beautiful and full of wild life and always full of other runners, walkers and bikers. When the weather isn’t so good, I unfortunately have to hit the treadmill.

I use my Garmin Watch. It keeps me in tune with what I’m suppose to be doing that day.

I’m currently training for my first marathon in Tokyo, Japan in March 2020.
