Running has not only helped me get into the best shape of my life, but has also helped me to “slow down and smell the roses”. The world used to just pass me by, but as I’ve continued to run I find myself taking the time to enjoy what is around me.
I joined RW+ for guidance on running. It also helps to motivate me to keep going.
I run to escape everyday life. I am a very anxious person. I have found that running is the only time I can really get out of my head and just relax. There is no better feeling than the calm I have while I am out on the road.
I love to run the trails at Sandy Ridge Reservation here in North Ridgeville, OH.
I’ve had four knee surgeries and continue to run! My doctor hates me.
My goal is to run a full marathon before I turn 40 next year!
