Ryan Reynolds Opens Up About Family Life After Welcoming Fourth Child With Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds likens being at home with four children to "a zoo."
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have kept details surrounding their newborn extra private.
The parents didn't officially announce the birth of their fourth child, with fans jumping to the conclusion all on their own after Lively shared pictures on Instagram from a Super Bowl party, revealing she no longer had a baby bump.
When Reynolds appeared on CNBC’s Power Lunch, co-host Kelly Evans asked the Deadpool star how the parents are doing after welcoming the newest member to their family.
“We’re very excited. Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it,” said Reynolds.
He added, “Everyone’s doing great. Everyone’s actually doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble.”
The parents are well prepared, but there’s still a hint of chaos at home with four children, according to Reynolds. “It’s a zoo over here. I mean, this is my ‘office’ here. This is where I’ll probably—to be honest, I’ll probably spend the rest of my life in here,” he joked, sitting in what appears to be the kitchen.
As for whether Reynolds and Lively welcomed yet another girl or if the newborn is a boy, Reynolds decided to keep the baby’s gender a secret for a little longer: “I ain’t tellin’. This ain’t a birth announcement. We didn't make a birth announcement. We just posted a photo and the media just did what it does,” he said, referring to Lively's Instagram post.
We'll have to wait a bit longer to see if the theory of Taylor Swift sneakily revealing the baby's name on "You're On Your Own, Kid" turned out to be correct.
