Ryan Reynolds blessed Sandra Bullock with a memorable present for her birthday this year: a flashback clip of their awkward scene together in the 2009 classic film, The Proposal.
The Deadpool actor took to Instagram on July 26, the Bird Box star's 59th spin around the sun, with the side-splitting clip, writing an equally funny caption alongside the upload.
"Happy Birthday to the inimitable and stunning Sandra Bullock!" Reynolds exclaimed in the social media note, jokingly providing a bit more insight into why he chose the content in honor of her special day. "For your birthday this year, I got us both intimacy coordinators. And an HR department. And clothing?"
The scene depicted in the snippet showcases the two film stars fully naked, with Bullock, who plays Margaret Tate in the movie, awkwardly falling on top of Reynolds' character, her assistant, Andrew Paxton.
The film's plot follows a pushy boss (Bullock), who is native Canadian, and her assistant (Reynolds), as he goes along with a fake wedding plan in an attempt to help her escape immigration, only to end up actually falling in love with one another. Classic.
Fans were promptly reminded of how hilarious the 2009 romantic-comedy is, taking to the comment section of the upload with their utter delight.
