'Saltburn's Barry Keoghan Is Officially Single Again

Saltburn star Barry Keoghan has finally confirmed his breakup with Alyson Sandro, a relationship update that Irish tabloid Sunday World first suspected last July.

The actor and his ex-girlfriend welcomed a son, Brando, in Aug. 2022, while Keoghan was in the middle of filming the viral comedy psychological thriller, a period he said "was probably the best time of [his] life" in a new interview with GQ, where he acknowledged the split, but offered little other information.

"She’s done a great job and she’s an incredible mother,” he said, but their separation has made a difference in some of his career decisions, in light of their child. “I feel a responsibility. I feel an enormous amount of pressure, which is good. And I can’t get the little boy off my mind. It’s beautiful," he explained, sharing that his son makes him feel "like the most important person in the world."

He recalled getting just one day off for his birth, laughing, “Good on them! Day off, and straight on to night shoots and night feedings—boom!”

But between "havin’ a baby boy, and leadin’ a movie," he reinforced that it was "the best time of [his] life"

The two first met at a pub in London in Feb. 2021, making their red carpet debut in Oct. of the same year. It's unclear when exactly the former couple broke up, but a source reportedly told Sunday World that it had come earlier in the summer of 2022.

And, recently, Keoghan has been spotted spending quality time with singer Sabrina Carpenter. Specifically, in December, the two celebrities were seen on a dinner date in Brentwood, Calif.

Keoghan certainly has had a big year, earning his second Golden Globe nomination for his work in Saltburn. (He previously earned critical acclaim for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin.)

Though, Carpenter did not attend the Golden Globes with Keoghan, as he hit the red carpet solo.
