Samantha Markle Claims She’s a Victim of Cyberbullying…As She's Investigated…for Cyberbullying

From Cosmopolitan

Time to *breathes heavy sigh* check in on Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Markle, because she's literally out here claiming she's a victim of cyberbullying. Which is ironic for many reasons, but mostly because she's currently being investigated for cyberbullying the Duchess. I can't!

Samantha recently sat down with Fox 13, and said she's been dealing with cyberbullying since 2018. She claimed that people are “Sharing my address, sharing my private information, social security information, [and] medical records," and that "some of these trolls will literally stop at nothing.”

“There are also people who are mentally unstable who take it to an irrational level; threats and spending their time, around the clock, obsessing about me,” Samantha continued. “We need to be adults and agree to disagree. Just because you don't like someone or what they have to say, it doesn’t mean you harass them...I don’t think it is right that they're allowed to do it anonymously behind an avatar.”

Samantha has filed a criminal complaint with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, who say the investigation is ongoing. And speaking of cyberbullying investigations, according to the Daily Mail, Florida police have reportedly opened one on Samantha thanks to multiple countries like Canada, Sweden, and the UK filing complaints about her cyberbullying Meghan and Harry.

A Polk County Sheriff Department officer said that “there have been multiple reports of allegations of cyberbullying made” and explained that it’s “a large and widespread investigation and is likely to be a long process.” They also noted that “Samantha Markle is aware of this allegation. She has not been arrested. This is an ongoing case and I cannot speculate on a timeline yet or make any other comment.”
