The New Sam's Club Treat That's 'Absolutely Heavenly'
Now that we are seeing the first official days of autumn, it seems you can’t escape the barrage of fall-flavored foods from all of your go-to shops and restaurants. If you were already a fan of this beautifully festive time of year (and all things pumpkin spice), you're probably in heaven right now.
With all of the seasonal flavor options available, it’s hard to pick a clear favorite. And stores like the popular membership warehouse Sam’s Club aren't helping matters as they continue to pump out fan-favorite creations. Case in point: Sam's Club brand new Member’s Mark Spiced Apple Pie Filled Cookies.
The treats were originally spotted by Sam’s Club Food Review, and they look absolutely irresistible. The spiced cookies are filled with a sweet mixture of perfectly cooked apples spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. The cookies are coated with a tan frosting that's drizzled with white frosting and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar crystals. Each box contains 27 cookies and costs only $8.98, which is a small price to pay for seasonal perfection.

After trying the cookies, Sam's Club Food Review gave the treat an 8.5 out of 10. The cookies were "an absolute visual delight" and the apple filling was "the star of the show," but they felt like the cookie "missed the mark when it comes to the classic shortbread cookie experience." They liked the level of spice flavor, but the cookies weren't as buttery and melt-in-your-mouth as they had hoped. Despite the demerits on the cookie front, they still recommended buying the cookies for your fall parties or to have with a cup of coffee.
