Sarah Ferguson Tells All About Getting Arrested With Princess Diana
"We got into trouble a lot!"
Sarah Ferguson and Princess Diana were partners in crime—literally.
The Duchess of York, 63, recalled getting arrested with Princes William and Harry's mother, whom she used to call "Dutch," back in 1986. Prior to her wedding to Prince Andrew, Fergie and Diana dressed up as police officers for Ferguson's hen party (a.k.a. bachelorette party).

"It was extraordinary because we went to a nightclub. Of course, you go to a nightclub with the Princess of Wales, then-Princess of Wales, and I was just still Fergie, wasn't married yet, and we went into this nightclub and she was very good as her costume," the A Most Intriguing Lady author shared during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The two were so believable that they were asked to leave the nightclub. According to Ferguson, a waiter came up to them and said, "Excuse me, this is a members club and it's for fun and we don't serve police officers here."
After leaving, the duo ended up getting arrested by actual police. Asked why by Clarkson, Ferguson replied, "Because we were impersonating police officers."

Ferguson revealed that in the back of the van Diana saw "smoky bacon flavored crisps" and started eating them. "The policeman in the front said, 'You can't do that!'" she remembered. "Eventually they realized that it was, you know, Diana and me."
Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice's mother admitted that she doesn't miss Diana, who passed away in 1997, because she is with her "all day." "She and I, we laughed a lot," Ferguson said. "We got into trouble a lot."
