Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams Celebrate First Wedding Anniversary
Sunday marked one year of marriage for Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams.
The two celebrated their first anniversary as a married couple by sharing sweet tributes and throwback wedding photos with fans online.
"One year married to you flew by in a blink of an eye," the Modern Family alum, 32, admitted in the caption of her Aug. 20 Instagram post which featured a personality picture of the two on their wedding day.
Hyland's praise continued, "You’re my HUSBAND. My best friend. My true north. I love you more than words can say and every day is the best day when I’m with you. Marriage is most fun I’ve ever had because I get to be married to you ??."
"How did you beat me to this?!? It’s 4am in Fiji!!!!!" Adams lovingly replied in the caption, confirming that he couldn't fly out to where Hyland is filming a reality TV series–Love Island–to celebrate their anniversary. "But I love you more. So there’s that."

The 39-year-old honored their anniversary by posting three of his favorite snaps from their ceremony and reception to the picture-sharing platform.
"Happy first anniversary to my perfect wife," Wells wrote in the caption. "I love you more. Plus one. Anything you say."
"Best day of my LIFE," Hyland gushed in the comments. "I love you to Pluto and back sugar nuts ????."
As Parade previously reported, Hyland and Adams tied the knot on August 20, 2022, in Santa Barbara, California, after about five years of dating. The couple got engaged in 2019 and had initially been planning their nuptials for August 2020 but decided to push the wedding back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
