Sarah Jessica Parker Has a Classy Response to Bette Midler’s Comments About Her ‘Hocus Pocus’ Performance

Sarah Jessica Parker is a classy lady. So when her Hocus Pocus co-star Bette Midler made some comments about her performance, she took it in stride.

ICYMI: Last month, Midler prepared for Halloween by watching Hocus Pocus and told Entertainment Tonight, “I had forgotten how good it was and how good everybody was. I mean, everybody. I mean, I didn’t realize what was going on behind me. Those girls were carrying on something terrible, and the kids were great.” For those unfamiliar, the 53-year-old SJP was one of those girls behind her “carrying on.”

A viewer called into Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen during Parker’s visit last night and asked how she felt about Midler’s words.

Her response was perfect: “I was proud to be downwind. I’m thrilled,” the Divorce star said.
