Sarah Silverman slams Vice President Mike Pence's abortion comments: 'God sees you lying'
Just a week after Alyssa Milano and Patricia Arquette called out President Trump for linking abortion to infanticide, Sarah Silverman is slamming Vice President Mike Pence for making similar claims.
The comedian, who has been an outspoken supporter of the pro-abortion-rights movement, swooped in to chastise Pence after he accused Democrats of “[advocating] for late-term abortion and even infanticide.” The vice president was reacting to Democratic opposition to GOP-backed “born alive” bills in New York and Virginia, which would require doctors to fight to save the life of any infant born alive during an attempted abortion.
Like Trump — who recently raised the ire of health care professionals and activists when he accused mothers and doctors of conspiring to “execute” babies — Pence claimed that Democrats support infanticide. Silverman took it upon herself to set the record straight, vehemently denying the attack and hitting the “lying” politician where it hurts: his religion.
NO ONE is advocating infanticide. You are lying. God sees you lying https://t.co/2kxaIZeVtN

Mike's Bible is the redacted version, found in the homes and places of worship of many Republicans. Among the redactions, for those familiar with the book, is a commandment against bearing false witness.

Other celebrities agreed. Actresses Lea Thompson and Debra Messing retweeted Silverman’s message, while actor Michael McKean accused Pence of “lying like a f***ing rug.”
Pence supporters and those who share his anti-abortion stance, however, stood by him, accusing Silverman of being ‘in denial” and “kept in the dark closet.”
You’re in denial Sarah
