Sasha Lane Is Making Scrunchies Cool

Scrunchies are notoriously uncool. Ever since Carrie Bradshaw‘s relationship with Jack Berger came to a screeching halt over this much-hated accessory, scrunchies have been a well-known fashion no-go.

Carrie said that scrunchies belong in the bathroom, exclusively for face-washing purposes, and that “no woman who works at W magazine and lives on Perry Street would be caught dead at a hip downtown restaurant wearing a scrunchie.”

But what about a rising actress sitting front row at Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show?

Sasha Lane tied up her locs on top of her head using a bright yellow scrunchie, and even in an all-Louis Vuitton matching leopard print ensemble, the accessory made a statement.

The 21-year-old American Honey actress is a Louis Vuitton muse and attended the show alongside Jaden Smith and Riley Keough. Lane kept her beauty simple, opting for a clear complexion using Omorovicza and DHC skin care products. With undone brows and nude glossy lips, she completed her look with a simple cat eye.

Lane is proving Carrie Bradshaw wrong, and scrunchies are reemerging from their bathroom hideouts.
