The youngest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama is just 16-years-old but already experimenting with bold new hair colors. At the Broccoli City Fest, a music festival in Washington DC, Sasha Obama was spotted partying with a circcle of friends and wearing a fresh new ombré-blue hair color. She's already cooler than we'll ever be.

Wearing a white crop top, jeans, and layers gold jewelry, Obama looked every bit a normal teenager. She reportedly listened to a set by musicians H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar before heading backstage for a meet-and-greet with Cardi B and her fiancé Offset. They trio even posed for a backstage photo.

Switching up your hair color when your base is naturally dark brown or black can be tricky. If you don't want to go the bleach and then tint route, colors like blue and deep purple are most easily deposited on dark hair. Pink, on the other hand, is much easier to read on lighter hair.

Hair chalk and temporary color sprays make changing your hair color to a fun and fresh shade easier than ever (and they've improved a lot from the messy, flaky formulas of years' past). A new line called Hush, sold at Sephora, makes temporary tinting sprays in colors seven colors: pink, red, teal, cobalt, yellow, gray, and lavender. Unlike other temporary color sprays, the formula isn't crunchy or crusty on the hair. If your hair is light you only need a small mist, darker hair can layer it on for a more intense pigment.
