Savannah Guthrie Got Super Emotional When the 'Today' Show Cast Surprised Her

As she celebrates 10 years at NBC's Today show, Savannah Guthrie is counting her blessings.

Ahead of Monday morning’s broadcast, the 49-year-old coanchor thanked her fans for their continuous support over her decade-long career on the morning show. In June 2011, the attorney-turned-journalist was officially named a Today cohost alongside Al Roker and Natalie Morales for the third-hour program. She solidified her position a year later replacing Ann Curry.

“No one was saying, ‘this girl is gonna anchor the Today Show one day.’ For this and a million other reasons, I am marveling at the miraculous blessing I have been given,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, @todayshow, for ten thrilling, challenging, inspiring, and jaw dropping years. I could post many adventures (and maybe I just will!) but it’s the dear people here that I hold in my heart forever. Thanks for the love and friendship.”

The mother of two then thanked her fellow Today costars, including Al, Hoda Kotb, Carson Daly, Craig Melvin, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer and Kathie Gifford among others.

Right on cue, fans flooded the Instagram comments section with their own words of love and encouragement for Savannah on her work anniversary. “You are smart and kind - my favorite combination. Thanks for being in my living room the past 10 years as I sipped my morning coffee,” one person wrote. “You light up the mornings! Congratulations,” another added. “Congrats Savannah ?? keep the amazing work ??????,” a different person said.

Of course, Savannah’s fellow costars were just as ecstatic about the special occasion. “What a wonderful turn of events when I sat next to you in hair and makeup. Happy 10th. Adore you. ??,” Jenna wrote. “Congratulations and I’m so lucky to work with you and call you a friend!” Dylan added. “We love you @savannahguthrie !!!! ????????” Sheinelle commented.

Savannah got emotional celebrating her career milestone on Monday's Today, especially when the cast and crew surprised her with a visit from her husband, Mike Feldman, and their children, Vale, 6, and Charley, 4.

"Now all my dreams came true," Savannah said while fighting back tears. "Thank you so much. Guys, now my whole family is here!"

Meanwhile, Hoda also dedicated an Instagram post to Savannah and her incredible accomplishment. She captioned a photo of Savannah with Vale: “Sg its your 10 year anniversary... so many worky pix to choose from... but this one shows your whole heart. I love sitting next to you."

Al also joined the celebration with a gallery of photos documenting the amazing milestone. “The #savannahversary rolls on as we celebrate @savannahguthrie and her #10years at @todayshow @3rdhourtoday,” he wrote.
