It's that time of year, ladies and gentleman-time to scare the sh*t out of your friends with a donut delivery from a terrifying clown. During the month of October, you can enlist Hurts Donut to deliver your favorite (or perhaps least favorite) person donuts via a super creepy clown. This year, the service is available from every Hurts Donut location (there's 19). You can visit the website to find a link to each locations' Facebook page, which will have the stores' phone numbers for you to call and place your order for the special delivery.

Happy scaring!

These days, it seems that the internet has a growing obsession of evil clowns, and we likely have the 2017 remake of Stephen King's It to thank for that. The film's main villain, Pennywise the Clown, has a look that nightmares are made of. Well, just as you were beginning to think that all of the hilarious internet memes of him - ahem, dancing Pennywise - would somehow ease your fears, a Dallas doughnut shop just swooped in to remind you of all the reasons you hate clowns in the first place. Hurts Donut in Dallas, TX is offering up a two-day special that will allow you to deliver doughnuts to any of your friends via a terrifying clown.

Unfortunately for anyone who doesn't live near one of Hurts Donut's locations, this won't be a deal you'll be able to participate in - so any clown-haters who aren't in Springfield, MO, Middleton, WI, or Frisco, TX can get off easy on this one. Of course, the clown that does the deed isn't Pennywise, it'll just be dressed and made up in a similar fashion as the infamous character to get the job done since, according to the shop's owner Kas Clegg, "clowns are trending right now."

"We always try to keep up with trends, and clowns are trending right now," she told Guide Live. "It's fall, and it's getting close to Halloween, so we just wanted to spice it up a little bit and do a super fun delivery ...We just love scary clowns."

The special is only valid until Sept. 26, though it wouldn't be surprising if Hurts decided to extend the service at least a few more days. In any case, if you're in the mood for maybe losing a friend today, you know what to do.
