On the Scene: Denim Style at NYFW

From Frame’s dinner to Ganni cocktail party with Mejuri, New York Fashion Week events brought out the city’s trendsetters in their best denim.

Gisele Bündchen, the star of Frame’s latest campaign, was the guest of honor at the brand’s NYFW dinner at Indochine. The supermodel was joined by stylist Gabriella Karefa Johnson, French actress Rebecca Dayan, model Ashley Graham and more at the premium denim brand’s NYFW dinner.

Copenhagen’s Ganni and Toronto-based jewelry brand Mejuri convened in New York to celebrate the launch of their collaboration. Actress Iris Apatow sported a drop-waist denim dress over a baby tee to the fete. Model and athlete Jordan Rand wore a moto jacket and straight leg jeans to the same event.

The front row was a sea of blue as well.

At Area’s Spring/Summer 2024 show, Selah Marley, model, singer and the daughter of Lauryn Hill, wore the Taylor Swift-approved brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 fur-print denim dress and matching blue eye makeup.

The arrival of Lee Jun-ho, member of the K-pop boy band 2am, caused at scene at Tommy Hilfiger’s runway show at Grand Central Station. Channeling the brand’s revival in all-American basics, he wore classic straight fit jeans, a denim button-down shirt and a sports bomber jacket.

Christian Cowan’s show inspired a more daring way to don denim. “Pretty Little Liars” actress Jessica Belkin wore the designer’s flower petal miniskirt with a low-neck white shirt. Actor and comedian Joel Kim Booster also showed skin at the show in short-shorts and an open-front bodysuit.
