If you think you’re a loyal Krispy Kreme fan, a new Krispy Kreme shop is about to put that to the test. They’re offering free doughnuts for a year, but there’s a catch.

On Tuesday, October 17th, a new Krispy Kreme location will open in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 2510 W. Broward Blvd. For staunch fans of the North Carolina-born doughnut empire, they’re handing out some serious sugar-dusted giveaways.

Krispy Kreme will gift a free box of a dozen glazed doughnuts once a week for an entire year for whoever secures the first spot in line prior to the shop’s 6:00 a.m. opening. For the next 99 people in line, a free dozen doughnuts once a month will be in their future for the next year. The first 100 individuals in line will also get a souvenir t-shirt.

No word on the shirt’s text, but we’re hoping the front reads “I waited in line for a very long time and all I got was this t-shirt...” The back, of course, should then announce “And free doughnuts for a year, y’all!”
