Screaming Because the Original 'Laguna Beach' Cast Teased a Reunion to Encourage Voter Registration
MTV's Laguna Beach cast is finally reuniting!
Sadly, it's not for a new season, but it is for a really good cause.
Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, Lo Bosworth, and more of the original cast will reunite to encourage Americans to vote.
It's time to go back, back to the peak of reality TV as far as I'm concerned. Laguna Beach fans and eligible voters, our time has come. This weekend, Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Trey Phillips, and Deiter Schmitz teased a major LB reunion to encourage civic participation.
Here's the deal: Lauren, Stephen, Trey, and Deiter held a mini reunion of their own via Zoom. During this video chat, they came up with the genius idea to have a full Laguna Beach reunion if 5oo of their fans take action and register to vote. If you're already registered, you can simply check your voter registration status, and that counts toward the reunion, too! Lauren herself has six million followers, so this shouldn't be too difficult.
And don't worry, this isn't one of those reunions where only half of the cast shows up and the people who you really want to see are off doing other things. In the video, Stephen, Trey, and Dieter said Kristin Cavallari and Christina Schuller would also be down to reunite. (Stephen and Kristin even hung out earlier this year!) Lauren then chimed in and said she'd reach out to Lo Bosworth and Morgan Smith to join.
So if 500 people follow this Head Count link, we could have a full LB reunion on our hands. Excuse me while I shed a single mascara tear! (Yes, I know that is technically a The Hills reference, but I'm too excited and Laguna Beach-adjacent references are fair game right now!)
