How Seal Really Feels About Daughter Leni's Modeling Career
The singer shared his thoughts about Leni following in mom Heidi Klum's footsteps.
Leni Klum, the 18-year-old daughter of Heidi Klum, 49, and Seal, 60, is finding success as a model, which is no surprise considering her supermodel mom.
Now, Seal is commenting on his daughter's career choices in a new interview, sharing how "impressed" he is with Leni.
While speaking with E! News, the interviewer asked Seal whether or not he has given Leni any advice or guidance as she starts working.
He said, "Not really. I don't feel I needed to. I'm so proud of everything that Leni has done, but I'm more proud of everything that she is."
The singer went on to describe what he believes are Leni's strengths as a person: "She walks through life with this type of humility that allows her to move so gracefully through it all, and she has an innate understanding of people in general, and people's feelings."
"So I'm kind of more impressed with everything that she is," he continued. "I'd like to think, as a parent, that we have, between her mother and myself, that we've instilled some of that in her."
He concluded, sounding exactly like a proud father, "But she can do no wrong in my eyes. She's quite wonderful."
Seal and ex Klum also share three more children–Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13. The singer is not Leni's biological father, but he adopted her in 2009.
Leni started modeling not that long ago, making her runway debut in December 2021, at the age of 17. Now, she gets cover shoots and does collaborations with brands.
At Milan Fashion Week, Klum supported her daughter at the runway show for her collaboration with the German brand About You, with Leni walking the runway in a black sleeveless top and black shorts, paired with a tan and brown jacket and over-the-knee leather boots.
Klum was so proud of her daughter, posting a video of Leni walking in the show on social media.
