Sebastian Stan Reveals “There’s a Lot of Good Things” in Marvel’s New Thunderbolts
Sebastian Stan is geared up and ready to head back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he revealed to Variety in an interview.
The Winter Soldier will return in Thunderbolts, which follows a group of supervillains who are recruited to go on missions for the government.
The film features an ensemble cast made up of Ayo Edebiri, Florence Pugh, Harrison Ford, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Olga Kurylenko, David Harbour and Stan.
Steven Yeun was also set to join the gang but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts in the wake of the production's delays due to the strike.
Stan expressed his excitement, revealing that the cameras are ready to roll. "I'm going to go back basically in a month or so," he said.

He also acknowledged the uphill battle Marvel has faced in recent years.
"The batting average is so high that it's difficult to always land everything right away," he said. "It's always been a great experience. With this one in particular, I think there's a lot of good things".
Wyatt Russell echoed his co-star's sentiments in a recent interview.
Russell said, "I know everybody is sort of on this Marvel train right now of things not going so well", but teased that this one is worth the ticket. "The story that I think they've come up with is really interesting," he said. "It's not a straightforward Marvel movie as you've seen in the past".
Thunderbolts is expected in theaters on July 25, 2025.
