Second annual ‘Jesus Fest’ welcomes community for live worship music and more
Johnson City, Tenn. (WJHL) – The second annual ‘Jesus Fest’ was held at the King Commons Park in Johnson City on Saturday.
The community, Christian churches and businesses in the Tri-Cities area gathered together to celebrate Jesus Christ and biblical teachings.
The event featured live worship music, testimonials and several guest speakers.
Paul Miller, Pastor at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities TN, told News Channel 11 about this year’s theme, ‘What is Truth?’
“People are looking for answers, especially with the way the world is going today,” Miller said. “There’s a lot of lies out there. We theme this as ‘What is Truth?’ Truth is Jesus Christ. And it’s an opportunity for the community to come and see, see Christians and see the love of Christ. Because we’re not judging. We’re not judging anybody. But what we’re doing is we’re reaching out in love.”
