It was recently revealed that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have a secret hack for keeping their skirts from flying up (hint: it's all about static underwear, guys), and now it turns out Kate has a genius method for keeping her shoes from falling off.

Apparently, Kate wears John Lewis tights which have built-in sticky pads along the feet to prevent shoes from slipping. The stockings retail for just $7 and come in nude, black, and tan - which is pretty helpful considering the Queen requires women in the royal family to wear pantyhose during public outings. Like, remember this?

Kate was actually pictured in the tights while visiting Sainte-Justine University Hospital in Montreal during a royal tour of Canada back in 2011, so you can check 'em out below:

See those sticky pads peeking out? Guess they weren't doing their job in that exact moment, but still - pretty solid trick for keeping one's shoes on if you're being forced to wear pantyhose.
