See Which Actress is Selling This Artsy Hamptons Getaway
In the world of Hamptons real estate, it isn’t all that hard to find opportunities to snatch up a glam retreat with celebrity ties. (See: Jackie O. and Rachael Ray's swanky and recently-for-sale estates.)
The latest to hit the market is this 117-year-old East Hampton hideaway on the shores of Gardiners Bay, which happens to be the family home of Jemima Kirke, best known for her role as Jessa in HBO’s Girls.

Listed with Compass for $3.5 million, the shingled home is ideally situated on a prime waterfront lot overlooking Gardiners Bay. Tucked behind a pair of grand iron gates, the century-old house has a rustic vibe, with wooden decks on two sides and ample surrounding lawn space that connects to a private beach.
In addition to its star-worthy views, the home is also a catch thanks to its refreshingly unique interiors. Weathered surfaces with a throwback feel—from the wide-plank wooden floors and checkered tiles to the sunlit dining room’s corrugated metal roof—pair with artsy accents like large-print floral wallpaper, glossy ceiling tiles, and pops of pink and turquoise.
While the home’s quirky details seem to fit Kirke’s on-screen character, the design can actually be credited to the actress’s mother, well-known New York City interior designer Lorraine Kirke.
A beachfront breeze (and Jacuzzi!) and quirky home with loads of historic character? Talk about the perfect place for a Girls weekend.
