See Arnold Schwarzenegger Effortlessly Jump Into Action to Help His City

"I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it."

Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't letting a technicality stop him from serving his community.

When the city of Los Angeles failed to step up to the plate, the action hero took it upon himself to terminate a massive inconvenience to residents: a pothole that reached across nearly the entire width of a single road lane.

"Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it," the actor wrote alongside a video of the group filling in the giant chunk of missing asphalt that he uploaded to Twitter. "I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it. Here you go."

And do something he did. In the video, someone can be seen dumping a bag of Quickcrete Blacktop Repair into the small crater, backed by an upbeat music track. The group, including Schwarzenegger—who was dressed in a leather jacket, work boots, and a slick pair of shades—then used shovels to smooth it into place and even out the patch job.

"Thank you SO much," one passerby yelled out of her passenger window.

"You're welcome!" the father of five replied, leading her to go, "Arnold! Oh, man."

"You have to do it yourself," he continued. "I mean, this is crazy. For three weeks I've been waiting for this hole to be closed."

Fans weren't far away with the jokes, with one replying to call him "the tarminator."

“Come with me if you want to pave,” another wrote.

"There's a few craters forming near Golds in Venice, I'll bring the asphalt if you can meet me there," someone else requested, should the star be interested in continuing a career in road repair.
