See the Chic Holiday Ensemble Michelle Obama Wore for the Family Christmas Card

It’s been nearly a year since the Obamas left the White House, and while much has changed, the one thing that hasn’t is Michelle Obama’s killer sense of style. Like many celebs, Barack Obama unveiled his family’s 2018 Christmas card this week, showcasing a smiling Sasha and a merry Malia, and, of course, an incredibly chic Michelle, whose holiday ensemble proved (yet again!) that she’s every bit as fashionable as she was during her time in the White House.

For the adorable snap, which also featured a crew of little elves, the former FLOTUS donned what appeared to be an ivory-colored two-piece befitting a snow queen.

The top was emblazoned with silver embroidery in a modern take on a Demask pattern, equal parts elegant and cool, with a geometric cut, clean lines, chic cap sleeves (hello, toned arms!) and a classic boatneck at the top.

The skirt portion of the matriarch’s ensemble took a turn for the whimsical with stylish pleats peeking through cutouts at the bottom of her shirt. She kept her collarbone-length hair simple and sleek with a few strategically placed curls, while her makeup was kept both natural and radiant.

The overall effect was a beautiful family card that ranked right up there with Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s.

It’s official: No matter where she is or what she does, she’ll always be our style queen!
