You Have to See Chip Gaines's Man Bun
Chip Gaines debuted a new hairstyle on Sunday, and people on social media are expressing mixed reactions.
The “Fixer Upper” star was photographed with wife and business partner Joanna Gaines on her Instagram where she showed off Chip’s new look. And he was rocking a relaxed look from head to toe with a onesie, cowboy boots, and none other than a freshly style man bun. Even with the longer ‘do, Joanna can’t stop gushing over him.

“He competes with the view,” she captioned the photo. “Man bun, tube socks, adult onesie and all… He still looks mighty fine to me.”
The couple was on a “workcation” amidst filming season five of their HGTV hit series, where they both rocked comfy clothes — Joanna even matched her hubby’s pulled up pant leg. And while there’s no denying that the reality show couple serves up serious relationship goals, some fans are little unsure about Chip’s new hair.
Some are seriously hating on the updated locks and asking if Chip’s going through a midlife crisis, while others aren’t shy to express that they’re simply not fans of the trend. “Another man lost to the hair bun club,” one person commented. “Who is this and what did you do with Chip Gaines?!” another wrote.
The departure from his usual look, however, has sparked the interest of other fans who are saying he now bears a resemblance to a certain famous soccer player. “I swear I had to do a double take as I thought it was David Beckham with Joanna Gaines,” someone wrote, to which many others chimed in and agreed.
As for where this hairstyle is headed, fans will have to wait for the show’s next season to find out.
