Where Karl Lagerfeld goes, his many, many Chanel muses follow. On Tuesday night in New York, that took them to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the French house presented its Métiers d'Art 2019 collection inside the world-famous Temple of Dendur, part of The Met's Egyptian collection.
While the museum's noted celebrity-packed gala isn't scheduled to occur until the first Monday in May, plenty of big names got dressed up in their Chanel best to attend the show. From perennial Lagerfeld muses like Marion Cotillard, Diane Kruger, Margot Robbie, Sofia Coppola and Julianne Moore, to a younger generation of starlets including Mackenzie Foy, Sadie Sink and Chanel face Lily-Rose Depp, these were looks worth braving the cold for.
