See Inside the Gorgeous Montecito Estate Oprah Just Purchased from Jeff Bridges
It's been a busy month for Oprah Winfrey. The media mogul recently released her annual list of Favorite Things, but that hasn't prevented her from focusing on her ever-growing real estate portfolio. Winfrey just purchased Jeff Bridges's Spanish-Revival estate in Montecito for $6.85 million, the same amount Bridges and his wife, Susan Geston, paid for the property in 2014.
Winfrey already owns two other homes in the star-studded Santa Barbara neighborhood: an estate known as the "Promised Land" as well as a horse farm, which is in close proximity. Situated on four impressive acres of gardens, the home is 3,517 square feet and was originally built in 1919 by famed architect James Osborn Craig. It features two bedrooms, three bathrooms, original windows, high ceilings, French doors, and five fireplaces.
