See Inside Tommy Hilfiger’s Quirky and Colorful South Florida Mansion
Anyone who’s familiar with Tommy Hilfiger knows the fashion icon isn’t typically one to shy away from color. So pair the designer with a city equally known for its vibrancy, and it's bound to be a solid match.
That’s just the recipe that created this 14,000-square-foot Pop Art paradise that’s plastered with slick white walls, psychedelic swirls, and geometric patterns in virtually all shades of the rainbow.
Hilfiger and his wife, Dee, purchased the beachfront estate in Miami’s tony Golden Beach neighborhood in 2013 to serve as their getaway and gallery for treasures by the likes of Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, and Keith Haring.
"We're here for the weather, the Latin flavor, the art, and the palm trees. Most of all we're here for the fun," Hilfiger told Architectural Digest in 2016.
The fun factor is evident throughout the jaw-dropping spaces. With help from LA designer-to-the-stars Martyn Lawrence Bullard, the Hilfigers fashioned a home with sleek finishes, from the glass-tile flooring to the black marble staircase. Layered on top are the grooviest iterations of color, pattern, and texture one might liken to a ‘60s nightclub (there’s even a disco ball brought back from a club in Capri).

The seven bedrooms once used to accommodate the Hilfigers' seven children are unabashedly playful, with geometric patterns of sunshine yellow and royal blue enveloping the spaces in trippy displays. (Another trippy detail? Scratch-and-sniff wallpaper in the bathrooms.)
Perhaps the most subdued of the spaces, the wood-wrapped poolhouse with its chartreuse sofa and hanging surfboards enjoys mesmerizing views of South Florida’s greatest asset.
If Hilfiger’s party pad sounds like your idea of a perfect escape, now’s your chance to snag it. The couple is selling the mod mansion for a cool $23.5 million through Miami real estate moguls The Jills. That’s $4 million less than its original listing price, so if you think of it that way, it’s a pretty good bargain.
