Jessica Stam is hitting the beach—and she's doing it in Camilla and Marc's just-launched swimwear line. The model stars in the label's resort 2015 campaign, which shows off the first full line of ocean-ready offerings from sibling designer duo Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman. Offering 14 swimsuit styles and three beach cover-ups, the collection is meant to be "modern yet timeless with a sporty edge," Freeman-Topper tells InStyle. Her goal when designing the pieces? "To provide a fresh take on the idea of classic swimwear styles."
When it came to shooting the campaign for the line of swimwear, Freeman-Topper knew it was important to get her brand's aesthetic just right. That's why she asked Stam to model her designs, some of which are already available at camillaandmarc.com. "Jessica is a strong yet feminine woman," says Freeman-Topper. "And she has a strong sense of self."

Once Stam was on board, the crew headed down under for the shoot. "It was my first time in Australia, and I cannot wait to return," Stam told InStyle. While on location in Sydney, Stam was photographed for Camilla and Marc's entire resort 2015 campaign, including their ready-to-wear and denim collections. But it was the swim line that truly excited Stam."I felt very sexy wearing these swimsuits," she says, noting that her favorite design is the Olivia One Piece ($249; camillaandmarc.com), pictured below. "It's a sleek style with a subtle textured fabric and modern cut-outs at the sides."

While the cut-outs may seem revealing, Stam actually found them to be flattering more than anything else. "I found that the higher cut made my legs look longer and leaner—which is every woman's wish," she said. "It's so important to feel good when you're showing so much skin."

And the style was right in line with what Stam would choose to wear on a getaway. "When I'm on vacation, I like to wear a one-piece swimsuit so I can easily slip in and out of the water throughout the day," she said. "I usually style it with a vintage silk kimono and an oversized hat for sun protection."
