You Need To See Jung Lee's Home Store In New York City
You may know Jung Lee as a wedding and events planner, but there's more to her brand than you might realize-that is, if you didn't know she has a home store in New York, you're seriously missing out, especially if you're in the market for a killer wedding registry.
Jung's journey as a wedding planner is actually the whole inspiration behind the self-titled store, so if you're shopping for your home with your soon-to-be spouse, you know you're in good hands. "We have learned so much about how a couple thinks about not only their celebration but also their dream for their life together," tells House Beautiful. "We wanted to create an environment to showcase the best of what’s out there to make their vision of entertaining and hosting a reality."
But you don't have to be planning a wedding to enjoy the store, which is basically a treasure trove of unique decor items at every price point, many of which are everyday items with a fantastical twist. For Jung, the product selection isn't about simply selecting the best, but rather, the most interesting. "We are drawn to pieces that feel special, but not precious...show stoppers, not scene stealers," she says.
The store is arranged in a way that feels special, too. Jung Lee feels a bit more like a trendy New York City loft than your average shop-an intentional choice made to showcase items in a more organic way.
"We have arranged the store like we would imagine you live your life" Jung explains. "Our product is displayed both in showcases but also in livable vignettes. It’s always helpful for customers to see these incredible products in a realistic situation. [Like] 'Oh, yes, I can totally imagine us having guests over enjoying this set-up.'"
