See Photos of Rescue Dogs Dressed As Jamie Lee Curtis Film Characters

A California-based rescue honored the award-winning actress in one of the cutest ways possible.

Jamie Lee Curtis may be the first actress to be honored by rescue dogs dressed like her beloved film characters.

Following her recent win at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Feb. 26, where she took home the gold for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role, one animal shelter took the opportunity to celebrate the actress the only way they knew how: with the help of their adorable rescue pups.

Paw Works, a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue based in Southern California, shared the adorable pics of a few of their favorite fur babies in costume as some of Curtis' most iconic characters.

Some of the movie characters portrayed by the parade of pups include Everything Everywhere All At Once's Deirdre Beaubeirdre, Laurie Strode from the Halloween franchise and Knives Out's Linda Drysdale.

But that's not all! The rescue's volunteers also featured a four-legged-friend rendition of Curtis' spirited character Nora Krank from the festive 2004 flick Christmas with the Kranks, as well as a furry version of Helen Tasker from the hit 1994 action film True Lies.

The nod wasn't just a great way to go viral, but it seemed to be a way of thanking the actress for her support. Curtis previously worked with the organization when she honored the late Betty White and her dedication to animal welfare at the 2022 Oscars, as she brought out a Chihuahua mix (named Mac & Cheese) who, at the time, was up for adoption at Paw Works.
