The Queen's annual birthday parade is a highlight of the royal calendar, with nearly every member of the British royal family typically making an appearance. This year's Trooping the Colour is extra special, as it coincides with her Platinum Jubilee. A key part of the Trooping the Colour is always the royal family's balcony appearance—where the royal kids, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, always steal the show.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no big Trooping the Colour in 2020 and 2021, so 2022 marks their grand return to the Buckingham Palace balcony, plus their debut in the carriages. Here, see the Cambridge kids at this year's Trooping the Colour—plus a look at all their appearances in years past.
1) 2022
For the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the Cambridge kids made their debut in the carriage portion of Trooping the Colour. Prince Louis, 4, sat in between his older siblings, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7.

They rode with their mom, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and their step-grandmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Princess Charlotte and Prince George didn't stand next to each other on the balcony at the 2018 Trooping the Colour; their cousin, Savannah Phillips, was in between them.
