Prince Charles turned 70 this week, and the future monarch celebrated the iconic milestone with a series of adorable birthday portraits. Featuring his wife, Duchess Camilla, his children, Prince William and Prince Harry, their wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, and his grandchildren-Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis-Prince Charles beamed in the shots which showed what a tight-knit group they are.

And now, to pay tribute to the royal's impact on the world on his 70th birthday, The Sunday Times has released some never-before-seen photos from that adorable photoshoot. And gracing the cover, Prince Charles can be seen snuggling up to Prince Louis, as grandfather and grandson laugh in the happy moment:


And in another, never-before-seen shot, Prince Charles' family can be seen laughing at the patriarch as baby Prince Louis grabs his grandfather by the face.


Of course, Meghan Markle is expecting her first baby with Prince Harry, due in the Spring of 2019, meaning that very soon, Prince Charles will be welcoming his fourth grandchild into the family.
