You have to see this Taco Bell-themed wedding photo shoot
One couple loves Taco Bell so much, they took their wedding photos at the fast food joint.
Skylain, 21, and Jeffery Clarke, 23, have been dating since their freshmen and junior year of high school, respectively. Every day after class, the former football player and cheerleader, who live in Jacksonville, Fla., met at their local Taco Bell, where Jeffery would buy them an after-school snack by “scraping quarters together.”
Aside from the affordable menu, the restaurant held meaning to Jeffery, whose father had treated his family to Friday-night dinners at Taco Bell for the past 30 years.
The couple had always planned to hit Taco Bell after their Sept. 29 wedding, which was held at a country club in St. Augustine. But when wedding photographer Nikki Baerman offered to go with them to the fast food restaurant, staging a photo shoot there was a given.
“We left the wedding 30 minutes before Taco Bell closed at 10 p.m. and asked the employees if we could take photos,” Skylaine tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “No one could believe we were in full wedding attire.”
The newlyweds posed over their late-night snacks and soda, and Jeffery even dipped his bride outside the store. Baerman also rummaged through the condiments packets, which bear funny slogans, and found one that read, “I do,” which the photographer positioned on the bridal bouquet for a shot. “I wasn’t worried about my dress getting dirty because we had been dancing all night,” adds Skylain.
“This wedding is probably the most unique one I’ve shot,” Baerman tells Yahoo Lifestyle. On Tuesday, the 20-year-old photographer uploaded the photos to her Facebook page, and the album has received hundreds of likes and requests for Taco Bell to share the photos.
Skylain and Jeffery just returned from a weeklong honeymoon in Orlando, where, “Of course, we ate Taco Bell,” says the bride.
