Selena Gomez made a monochromatic arrival to her Rare Beauty‘s Find Comfort Body collection launch celebration in Los Angeles on Wednesday, embracing the quiet luxury trend in a Giuseppe di Morabito suit with sandals by Black Suede Studio, an Effy tennis bracelet and a bag by Cult Gaia.

Gomez’s white ensemble featured sharp lapels and buttons, which she paired with a lace Victoria’s Secret corset underneath. The songstress collaborated with stylist Erin Walsh on her look, which was from the brand’s spring 2024 collection.

In May, Google searches for the term “quiet luxury” — a now-popular term to describe clothing made from high-quality materials, with minimalist shapes, neutral colors, tailoring and invisible branding — surged.

Gomez’s latest minimalist, muted look is a stark contrast to the bold, red gown she donned at the Golden Globe Awards 2024 on Sunday, which featured sequined rosette appliqués and cutouts. There, she was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.”

Gomez launched Rare Beauty in 2019 and the brand has since expanded to offer blush, concealer, bronzer and now a body care collection that includes lotion, hand cream and a fragrance mist.

“We center everything on wanting people to take care of themselves and love who they are, and have a safe place to share their stories,” Gomez told WWD in December, later adding, “We’re constantly wanting to know how we can do more, and what our community needs. Everything we create has them in mind.”
